Department of Post, Office of the Manager, Mail Motor Service, Chennai invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Time Scale Driver, Welder and Painter. The last date for receipt of application is 8th October 2014.

Eligibility:

Time Scale Driver ->

(a) Possession of a valid driving licence for light and heavy motor vehicles. 
(b) Atleast 4 years driving experience of light and heavy motor vehicles. 
(c) Desirable - Middle Standard Pass

Welder (Skilled) /Painter Skilled) ->

(a) A certificate (ITI) in the respective Trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Govt. (OR) 
(b) VIII Std. pass with experience of one year in the respective Trade.

Selection Process: TS Driver - Literacy Test, Arithmetic Test and Driving Test; Welder / Painter - Competitive Trade Test.

How To Apply: Application on plain paper in the prescribed format as produced above should be filled in by the candidate either in English or in Tamil correctly and completely. One Passport size photograph should be affixed at the place meant for the purpose on the application and should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of State/ Central Government.
